In-game Description[]

This description is taken from the PAL version of Gran Turismo 2:

The C-Spec model is based on a first-generation Roadster, and is the first tuning complete car that Mazdaspeed sent into the world in January 1998. The major distinguishing feature is the compete overhaul of the exterior. The parts comprising the body start with the front cowl, and total six items, including the front air dam, side sill panel, rear spoiler, rear fender panel, and rear centre panel. The facial expression changes the headlights to fixed headlights, then finishes them with acrylic covers. The sheer volume of the modulated front and rear fenders combine with this to express with the entire body the image of a wild beast attacking its prey. And this is not just expressed as a simple shape, but actually is designed with data obtained from wind tunnel experiments conducted on actual vehicles. The CD values and CL values are balanced at a high range. The internal features are based on B-Spec[1] parts. It loads a 200ps specification engine with the displacement enlarged to 2.0 litres, and the suspension and drivetrain are equipped with fortified functional parts. A leather interior is added to all this, making the C-Spec absolutely packed with features that one can expect out of a complete car. This machine has a powerful presence that has the potential to blow the competition away.
