In-game Description[]

This description is taken from the PAL version of Gran Turismo 2:

The Roadster B-Spec was released by Mazdaspeed, based on the Eunos Roadster, building on B-Spec[1] parts. While A-Specs are tuning items intended for use on public roads, the B-Specs include specifications that require submitting a modification request. Installing these will require the vehicle inspection papers to indicate the modification. Something this extensive obviously yields a vehicle that has such high performance that A-Specs simply do not compare. The engine tuning involves possibilities from Stage 1 to Stage 3, and Stage 3 with the most extensive modifications, the difference is so drastic that it seems like a totally different engine to the normal one. The BP model unit with 1.8 litres of displacement has the bore increased to 1929cc, plus it adopts a four-stage throttle, and features high-level tuning extending into the details, attaining an astounding maximum output of 192PS. The maximum torque reaches 19.8kgm. The power and torque increase is immediately felt. The acceleration feel is very powerful, and the revs seem to shoot through the roof. The drive has both power and a high limit, with a performance that easily blows away the new model Roadster.
