The Mine's R32.5 Skyline GT-R is a tuned car produced by Mine's, but is listed as a Nissan car in its only appearance in Gran Turismo 2. The car is a tuned version of the Nissan SKYLINE GT-R V • spec N1 (R32) '93.

In-game Description[]

This description is taken from the PAL version of Gran Turismo 2:

Here is the Mine's Skyline R32.5 GT-R N1 base version; certainly it is the legendary Skyline GT-R, but this machine is the expression of the concept of bringing out the maximum potential in the base model. This could be said to be one of the ultimate incarnations of the Skyline GT-R. The base model is the N1 specification,; based around the highest grade version of the Skyline GT-R, the V-Spec. using this as a basis, all aspects of the car have been appropriately tuned. The power unit is the RB26DETT, featuring 1.2mm thick metal head gaskets, and utilising Showa Super Camshaft units on both intake and exhaust sides. To this are fitted the Mine's proprietary computer ROM, 600cc high capacity fuel injectors, GT2530 twin turbines, and Mine's original front pipe and muffler for the exhaust system. An Earl's oil cooler is also fitted to fix oil temperature problems. Although the engine still appears quite normal, the final output of 630ps and 63kgm of torque produced are truly stunning. The clutch is twin carbon and carbon fibre is also employed in the propeller shaft. This use of carbon fibre also extends to many of the other body parts. The suspension is the ESTA Suspension Professional Edition, with the spring rates set at 12 kg on the front and 10 kg at the rear. In addition, a tower bar is included and all the bushes have been changed to the Sports Link Kit. In the braking department also, an original Brembo-based Mine's brake kit is used, featuring an inch up of the normal 0.5 ratio rotor. Furthermore, an interesting point is the inclusion of the Attessa ET-S using an active LSD in the R33 GT-R PRO. On top of all this, Falken S type tyres are fitted to the Mine's original LM Evolution 17" wheels. In this configuration, the car managed a 0'59.181[1] lap time on the Tsukuba circuit.
