The Mini Marcos GT '70 is a road car produced by Marcos. It appears in Gran Turismo 4, Gran Turismo PSP, Gran Turismo 5, and Gran Turismo 6.

The ADO15, Mini Minor, and Austin Mini, which made their collective debut in 1959, became huge hits as they gained popularity for their efficient and functional packaging. Because the powertrain was centralized at the front wheels, it was easy to create special models different form the original.
Marcos, which was started jointly by Jem Marsh and Frank Costin, is one such special model maker. The name "Marcos" comes from the letters taken from both of the men's[1] names.
The Mini Marcos, which was launched in 1965, is built with the combination of Mini components and an FRP 2-seater coupe body. Any variation of the Mini's engine could be loaded, and even with the same engine as the original Mini, it would deliver comparatively better power due to its remarkable light weight and aerodynamic style.
What's interesting is that this Mini Marcos ran in the 24-hour race of Le Mans in 1966. In this year's Le Mans race, the GT40 earned its first victory, and the Mini Marcos was in last place, but managed to complete the race in the 13th position. This performance is quite impressive, considering the fact that its average speed over 24 hours was 90 mph.
Approximately 700 cars were produced between 1965 - the debut year - and 1974, the car's final year of production. Overall there should actually be even more in existence, as kits were all sold in addition to completed cars. In the 1980s, production rights for the Mini Marcos went to another owner and a small quantity was produced under the name "MIDAS".
