Trivia[]
- The livery of this car is very similar to its predecessor, except for more sponsors and for the addition of new colors and also driver numbers.
- The car features Omega Boost sponsorship on the sides, which is a reference from the PS1 game developed by Polyphony Digital. The same logo can also be found on the FTO Super Touring Car in later games.
- Originally, the FTO LM Race Car was going to appear in Gran Turismo 4, as seen in this 3D Motors TV broadcast of an early-to-mid-December 2004 Japanese Gran Turismo 4 preview demo. However, it was completely removed shortly before final release, being replaced with its successor.
