In-game description[]
- "The prized qualities of Mitsubishi's famed AWD sports sedan are on display in the Lancer Evolution's Final Edition. At the heart of every Evo is the engine. The one in this car produces 308.7 HP and 316.1 ft-lb of torque, making it the most powerful Evo engine ever. Not only are the suspension and brakes also impressive, the technically-advanced AWD system makes this a monster on all types of terrain."
- ―In-game description of the car, from GT7's Brand Central
On April 10th, 2015 a 1000 car limited 'Final Edition' was prepared for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. The car sold out as of August 20th, 2015.
The final edition is a model based on the 5-speed manual GSR. Cooling performance of the engine is raised with sodium filled exhaust valves and engine power was raised by 12 BHP / 0.7 kgfm to 308 BHP / 43.7 kgfm. Starting with the 'High Performance Package' including Bilstein dampers, Eibach springs and high performance tires, the car is adorned with 18-inch BBS aluminum wheels, Recaro full bucket seats and lots of other manufacturer options.
On the exterior, the front grille molding is dark chrome and the air outlet on the bumper center and hood are painted black. The wheels are also in a special dark chrome color. To commemorate the fact that this is the final edition, the trunk is badged with a 'FINAL EDITION' emblem and a serial number plate is added in front of the shift knob on the interior.
The Final Edition is based on the Lancer Evolution X, but the 'X' appears nowhere on its car name. This means that this is the final Lancer Evolution. Since its debut as a homologation model for the WRC in 1992, the 'Lancer Evo' has been loved by drivers and rally fans around the world. With this model its long history has truly come to an end.

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is an iconic four-wheel drive Japanese turbo sports car. Affectionately known as the 'Evo'... The series has won the hearts of countless fans thanks to its stellar performance at world rally championships. Although Mitsubishi and the Evo have not competed in a world rally competition since 2005... The latter's popularity only continues to grow. Historically speaking, this Evo X 'Final Edition' trim was the last production car to be produced of the series. It features a beefed-up engine capable of outputting an astounding 308.7 BHP. You can bet that its value on the international market will only continue to appreciate with time.

Perfect! If this is the final Evo Edition, they saved the best for last. Mitsubishi got it right with the 2015 Evolution Final Edition. Their designers created a well-executed body shape, with very well-developed surfaces and line work. In addition, all of the aero devices, air intakes, and air exits are in harmony with the car's overall design. As are the tire and wheel sizes!
