"Saying goodbye to the Evo was made easier by the awesome prowess of the "Final Edition" model."
―In-game catch text for the car, from GT7's car collection

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition Gr.3 is a race car produced by Mitsubishi, based on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition '15. It appears in Gran Turismo Sport and Gran Turismo 7.

Liveries[]

Two liveries are available for this car:

  • #11 Ralliart (unlisted in-game)
  • Variation (#12 Ralliart, GT7 only)

Description[]

"For this original Gran Turismo Gr.3 vehicle, the Lancer Evolution Final Edition served as the base. A few tweaks to the body significantly improved the car's aerodynamics. Also, for this version, the race car was converted to rear-wheel-drive to conform to regulations."
―In-game description of the car, from GT7's Brand Central

The car shares the same description as the base Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition '15, stating at the bottom that it is specially tuned for Gr.3 regulations by Gran Turismo.

Trivia[]

  • The livery of this car is based on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV Rally Car '97, but with the main colors reversed; white on red instead of red on white.
    • The alternate livery reverses the colors back to the original red on white, as does the livery on the Gr.B counterpart. This livery also features the updated Mitsubishi Motors logo.
  • The default number on the primary livery, #11, is a symbolic reference to the base car being (presently) the final Lancer Evolution, in absence of an "Evolution XI". This symbolic numbering can also be found on its Gr.4 and Gr.B counterparts.
  • The car's body shape appears to be influenced from sedan-based GT300 cars, such as the R&D Sport Legacy B4 (2009-2012), the apr Corolla Axio (2009-2011), and the Lexus Weds Sport IS350 '08.
  • GT Sport version 1.34 introduced a fix on the shape of the left front canards.[2]
