The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR '03 is a pre-production road car produced by Mitsubishi. It only appears in Gran Turismo 4 Prologue, being replaced by the 2004 MR GSR production model (otherwise identical to the pre-production car, apart from the wheels) in Gran Turismo 4.

- The car's internal name, "lancer_evo8_mr_tms_03", refers to the car being the pre-production model shown at the 2003 Tokyo Motor Show.
- The pre-production model as appearing in GT4P features the optional 7-split spoke BBS rims, also shown in GT4's Mitsubishi dealership main menu. The final car appearing in later games (until GT7 where it was changed to the aforementioned wheel) uses the regular 6-spoke Enkei rims instead.
