Trivia[]
- When racing around Motorland in reverse, AI cars will sometimes accidentally enter the pit lane due to running wide at high speeds.
- In the NTSC-K version of GT4, the course name is Motor Sports Land II, but it uses the Motorland course logo. A similar behavior also exists in the Japanese Online Test Version, but only in the Arcade Mode course selection.
- in the Japanese and Asian/Chinese versions of GT4, when the player selects Motor Sports Land II in reverse, there is a strange occurrence with the track's logo; it is different from the logo used by the forward version, with a typo in "Motor" resulting in it being typed as "Mortor" instead. This logo with the typo used by the reverse version of Motor Sports Land II can be seen only in the beginning of replays and in the menus of events featuring the reverse version.
- The track's alternate name is a reference to Motor Sports Land, a small track from GT2.
- The track's internal name is "kashiwa", making no reference to its names (Motor Sports Land II and Motorland) in any regional version of GT4. It is likely a reference to a city of the same name located in Japan, thus heavily implying the location of Motorland.
- Kashiwa is also the birthplace of series producer Kazunori Yamauchi.
