The NISMO Skyline GT-R S-tune (R32) '00 is a tuned car based on the R32 Skyline GT-R produced by Nismo. It first appeared in Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec (where is listed as a Nissan car in that game) and has been featured in all subsequent mainline games up to Gran Turismo 6.

Nismo, Nissan's motorsports arm, has had a tendency to take the company's sportiest cars and turn them into virtual racing cars for the street. It ususally adorned these cars with the "S-tune" moniker. And when Nissan introduced its awesome R32 Skyline GT-R in 1989, it was only a matter of time until the enthusiastic division got its hands on one. The Nismo R32 GT-R S-tune was born.
The car was equipped with the Nismo S1, an engine based on the RB26DETT, a turbocharged 2.6-liter inline-6. It came with new cams and ECU. The muffler was Nismo's own NE-1, designed to have a completely isometric layout from the turbo outlets to the collector, with dual pipes back to the rear differential case. Because of these changes, it was able to maintain low-end torque while still being able to reach high into the rev-range. Because ride comfort was also important to Nismo, the suspension system was largely left alone. Ride-height was lowered slightly, and the stabilizers were beefed up.
Power was rated at 394 HP, which was delivered in a linear way to all four wheels, making the R32 surprisingly easy to drive. To match this power, the drivetrain was strengthened with a reinforced clutch, a mechanical LSD, and 6-speed manual gearbox from the stock car. The end result was a street-able race car that you could drive to and from the racetrack.
