National League is the first section of the Gran Turismo League, located in the Go Race area, in Gran Turismo 2's Simulation Mode. There are 6 events, featuring 6 different countries of car manufacturers. None of these events award prize cars, however completion of all races is required for entry into the Euro and Pacific Leagues (although this is not required in the Japanese version of the game).

Trivia[]
- Although it would seem that each event is restricted to a car produced in that country, any car from any manufacturer may enter these events, provided they are under the BHP limit.
- Early menu designs seemed to plan such restrictions, with European Ford offerings being assigned to German Nationals.
- Due to a programming error, if selecting the race preview (camera button) on the Italian Nationals Rome Short Course race, it will instead enter the player to the event (assuming the car meets the horsepower limit), as if you had pressed "Go". This only applies in the early American and Japanese versions of the game. Later American and Japanese versions, as well as the PAL version are not affected by this bug.
- Despite Trial Mountain hosting the UK Nationals, it was revealed in Gran Turismo 7's first trailer that the course is located in United States.
