Trivia[]

The roof of the car's default livery; note the QR code.
- There is a QR code on the roof, which leads to Gran Turismo's official website.
- The QR code also appears on the Nissan GT-R R35 Touring Car's rear left fender in the PlayStation 3-era games.
- The car's internal name is "gtr_nismo_gtbm_xx", which suggests that the car is based on the Nissan GT-R NISMO '17, a car that was not in the game until Update 1.15, released in late March 2018.
- Additionally, the Gr.B version lacks some visual features specific to the NISMO variant.
- The car's default livery features Gran Turismo logos and racing stripes with placement similar to those used on the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 '13, although with different colors.
- During the 2020 FIA Gran Turismo Championships Regional Finals, the car has an alternate livery with yellow color and black stripes (including the GT logo); the alternate livery is not accessible to players unless recreated.
- The car uses RAYS 57D wheels by default.
