- The car's internal name is "gtr_nismo_gtbm_xx", which suggests that the car is based on Nissan GT-R NISMO '17, a car that was not in the game until Update 1.15, released in late March 2018. Additionally, the Gr.B Rally Car lacks some visual features specific to the GT-R NISMO.
- The car's default livery features Gran Turismo logos and racing stripes with placement similar to those used on Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 N24 Schulze Motorsport '13, although with different color.
