The Nissan GT-R NISMO '14 is a tuned car produced by Nissan. It is a tuned version of the Nissan GT-R built by Nismo which only appears in Gran Turismo 6, where it was added as part of Update 1.12, before it was succeeded by the Nissan GT-R NISMO '17 in Gran Turismo Sport.

In-game description[]

"A model of the R35 that renewed the world's fastest production car record on the Nürburgring."

The R35 GT-R released in 2007 continued to undergo improvement after its initial debut, the developers meticulously honing its performance to make it even faster. The 2014 Nissan GT-R NISMO is a car that is the culmination of all their effort.

The 2014 model GT-R already has been reinforced body and other chassis improvements, but the Nissan GT-R NISMO goes one step further with structural adhesives added in addition to the standard sport welding; a tuning procedure that is not possible to add in aftermarket tuning. Furthermore it is given a variety of carbon fiber parts to maximize aerodynamic performance such as the bumper, rear spoiler, side sill covers, and under chassis covers. As a result, at 300 km/h the car produces an additional 100 kg of downforce compared to the precious model, and the variation of contact loads on the 4 wheels was further reduced. Nothing has been overlooked.

The suspension is a specially designed Bilstein Damp Tronic damper, with special upper links in the front, and a newly introduced hollow rear stabilizer for improving cornering performance.

The VR38DETT utilizes the same turbos as a GT3 racer, and with its specially developed injectors the car now produces 591 BHP and 480.9 lb-ft of torque.

The Nissan GT-R NISMO was driven by Michael Krumm on the Nürburgring in September 2013, prior to its official announcement. It achieved a lap time of 7 minutes 8.679 seconds, resetting the world record for the fastest production car on this track.
