Trivia[]
- This car can be considered the in-game counterpart of the Nissan GT-R Limited Edition's diecast model car, because both cars share the same livery. The only difference between this car and the diecast model is the driver number (#5 on the model, and #1 on the in-game car).
- The livery it used also resembles that used by Stealth Model cars, although the car is not considered to be one.
- Despite this car possessing a driver number, the player can't change it. However, if the player starts an A-Spec One Make Race in the practice section of the GT Mode, the CPU drivers will drive this car, but with different driver numbers.
- Excluding cars that can be redeemed through the use of voucher codes on the PlayStation Store (including the Gran Turismo RACING KART 125 SPL and Toyota FT-86II concept '11), this is the only car in GT5 that cannot be sold or removed from the garage once added.
