In-game description[]

This description is taken from the original Gran Turismo:

The S14 was launched in 1993 and in 1996 was given a makeover which swept aside the staid styling for a more aggressive feel. It uses the 2.0-litre inline 4-cylinder DOHC NA SR20DE engine, and its turbo version, the SR20DET. The NA version is fitted to the J's and Q's and delivers 160 PS and 19.2 kgm, while the turbo gives 220 PS and 28.0 kgm to the top-of-the-range K's. For drive quality the K's is the pick of the bunch, and whilst the NA Q's is well-balanced, it seems a bit short on power for a car of its class. In terms of performance both models compare well with their rivals, but the potential of the suspension and chassis is not quite up to scratch and their sportiness is patchy. Nonetheless they still receive a lot of support.
