In-game description[]

This description is taken from the original Gran Turismo:

The R33 Skyline was released in 1993, with a GT-R model in 1995. The most sporty cars in the R33 Skyline series are the GTS25 Type S and the GTS25t Type M Spec II. The engines in both are 2.5 litre straight 6 DOHC. The GTS25 Type S engine is naturally aspirated and produces 190 PS/23.5 kgm, whereas the GTS25t Type M engine is turbocharged and produces 250 PS/30.0 kgm. Although the actual drive is not as intense as the GT-R, it is still fairly responsive, and the ample supply of power from the turbocharged Type M engine is impressive. The naturally aspirated GTS25 Type S has a great combination of a naturally aspirated engine and straight-forward handling, and is a perfect beginners car. Although the size of the body makes it a little hard to control on winding roads.
