The Nissan SKYLINE Sedan 350GT Type SP '06 is a road car produced by Nissan. It appears in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, Gran Turismo 5 and Gran Turismo 6.

The V36 Skyline appeared in November of 2006. How Nissan would treat this new Skyline attracted a lot of attention, because much of the "Skyline" character seemed to be lost in the V35, and had been negatively criticised by old Skyline fans. However, Nissan kept its concept in the model change, as they believed firmly in the new path taken in their search for evolution and revolution.
The FM platform was carried over, with optimised engine mounting positions and front-to-rear weight distribution. By not only raising body rigidity but by balancing rigidity throughout the body as well, it was greatly improved overall. The improvements made to the steering fell was impressive, and it became a sports saloon which had a notably high-quality drive feel of a well designed FR.
The engines that would be mounted in the slightly wider and lower body was either a 2.5 L or 3.5 L V6. Producing 221 BHP and 310 BHP respectively, the 2.5 L is also offered in a 4WD model. It gives the driver a strong sense of power, with very strong torque coming from even the low-rpm range when accelerating. The 4-wheel active steering is offered as an option on premium models and is very interesting technology.
The 350GT Type SP is the highest grade model which combines the luxury equipment and sports features with the 3.5 L engine. It is decked out with genuine leather seats, sports tuned suspension, and 18" aluminium wheels. As a high-performance GT, it gives off a mature aura and has comfortable ride quality as a saloon, but can still be enjoyed on winding roads. It is a model that truly continues the Skyline heritage.
