Trivia[]
- In the international versions of the game, the in-game name of this car is actually misspelled, where Xanavi is written as Zanavi, and "ARTA" (abberivation for Autobacs Racing Team Aguri) is not capitalized.
- Curiously, the Nissan Daishin Silvia GT (JGTC) '99 also has its in-game name misspelled outside Japan (it should be Daishin instead of Daisin), and both are racing versions of the Nissan Silvia S15.
- The reason why this typo occurred is because Xanavi (a Japanese brand of car head units with navigation capabilities, now part of Clarion) is written ザナヴィ (zanavi) in katakana, due to restrictions of Japanese pronunciation system. Coincidentally, Z and X are located together on an English keyboard. Similar romanization-related typos in GT2 include "Shallot Green Pearl" (should be Charlotte Green Pearl) color name affecting several Honda/Acura NSX models (which continued to persist until being fixed in GT Sport) and why the Suzuki Cappuccino (EA21R) '95 is referred to as "Capcino".
