Trivia[]
- In Gran Turismo 2 and Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec, there are no direct references to Porsche as a brand on descriptions of both the RUF brand and its cars, being instead referred as a "well-known German sportscar marque". Two Porsche cars (the 944 and a 911) are, however, directly referenced on the descriptions of the Mazda RX-7 Cabriolet (FC) '90 and the Aston Martin V8 Vantage '99 in the PAL version of Gran Turismo 2.
- Additionally, in the Japanese version of GT2, Porsche is explicitly mentioned in the description text for RUF cars.
- In 2025, Porsche became the first non-Japanese brand to win the Gran Turismo World Series Manufacturers' Cup.
