The Red Bull X2010 5G is a special liveried version of the Red Bull X2010 '10 which has only appeared in the Japanese version of Gran Turismo 5.
Featuring bigger aerodynamic wings and a disabled down force generating turbo fan, the race car named the X2010 5G was used for a special Japanese competition.
Starting with a seasonal event on October 2, 2012, players competed in a seasonal event using the X2010 5G as an addition to the main Red Bull 5G racing championship. The 5G has a white finish, and the "5G" symbol on the front just above the lights. This car also has a small amount of black shading just behind the canopy.
Acquisition
The Red Bull X2010 5G was only available during said competition. It can only be obtained through cheat device, even in areas where the event never took place.
Trivia
- This car was created for a japanese exclusive event, the Red Bull 5G, an event that tests the player in five different video game genres (hence the name 5G).
- This variant of the X2010 doesn't have the fan activated. This presages the "future" Red Bull X2014 Junior, a similar car that appears in Gran Turismo 6.
