The X2010 5G
The Gran Turismo Red Bull X2010 5G is a special liveried version of the Red Bull X2010 '10 which appears only in the Japanese version of Gran Turismo 5.
Featuring bigger aerodynamic wings and a disabled down force generating turbo fan, the race car name the X2010 5G will be host to a special Japanese competition.
Starting with a seasonal event on October 2, 2012, players compete in a seasonal event using the X2010 5G as an addition to the main Red Bull 5G racing championship. The 5g has a white finish, and the "5G" symbol on the front just above the lights. This car also has a small amount of black shading just behind the canopy.
Acquisition
The Gran Turismo Red Bull X2010 5G cannot be won as a prize, or purchased from the dealership. It was only available from that competition.
Trivia
- This car was created for a japanese exclusive event, the Red Bull 5G, an event that test the player in five differents videogames genres (hence the name 5G).
- This variant of the X2010 doesn't have the fan activated. This presages the "future" Red Bull X2014 Standard Car, a similar car that appears in Gran Turismo 6.
- Although this car was usually seen White, It has other 19 different colorations. Here is a list of all the colors "available" for this car:
