Renault is an automaker that produces passenger cars, commercial vehicles, tractors, and in the past, autorail vehicles. Renault is currently based in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. Due to its current alliance with Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors, Renault is currently the world's fourth largest automaker.

The French automaker made its debut appearance in Gran Turismo 2, and has appeared in every Gran Turismo game since.

List of Cars[]

Note that from Gran Turismo 5 to Gran Turismo Sport, Renault and Renault Sport vehicles were treated as different makes by the game. The list below includes cars listed as both Renault and Renault Sport.

Trivia[]

  • An entry for a Renault Sport Spider can be found in GT2 demos' replay name listings, but was cut from the final game.[1]
  • Because Renault Sport cars were merged back with the main Renault marque in GT7 (following the merge of Renault Sport and Alpine), Renault Sport's GTWS Manufacturers Cup entry was transferred to the main Renault marque.
  • During the 2025 Gran Turismo World Series Manufacturers Cup official online season, Renault was implicated in a points manipulation scandal where some of the players belonging to the manufacturer was caught in a scheme to play under some of each others' PSN IDs in an effort to boost the manufacturer's points. As a result of the scandal, Renault were deducted points (with the drivers implicated in the scandal being disqualified from that year's Manufacturers Cup and were suspended from the game until the end of the season) that resulted in Renault failing to qualify for that year's live events.[2]
