Prize Cars[]
There are two prize cars available. Both prize cars have a chance of 1/2 (50% probability) to be won. So, in order to get the other prize car, the player must repeat the event. Be aware that this is a long endurance race, and trying to win a different car on endurance races may be frustrating.
Tips and Tricks[]
- Much like the fourth race of the Gran Turismo All Stars and the Gran Turismo World League, all of the opponents will drive high performance race cars, except for a Jaguar XJ220 '92 road car that occasionally may appear. Much like the SSR5 All-Night, this race can be very tough when driving a slow car, especially as it is more likely that the opponents will use Le Mans race cars than in the other two aforementioned events. For this race, it is recommended to use a race car that has at least 600 HP.
- The Nissan Unisia JECS Skyline GT (JGTC) '99 has at least 702 HP, which is strong enough to compete against faster cars and thanks to its 4WD, this can last around twenty or so laps before it will need to be pitted to change tires. It is even fast enough to catch up and overtake GT1 cars as well.
Trivia[]
- Due to a bug in the NTSC-U 1.0 version of the game, an STP Taisan Viper GT (JGTC) opponent equipped with Racing Medium tyres from the Laguna Seca 200 Miles may appear here. This bug is not present in any other version of the game.
- It is possible to complete the race in less than two hours if the player reaches the 99th lap in time. Conversely, if the total time reaches two hours, the race ends immediately as soon as the player crosses the start/finish line.
- The behavior that allows the race to end after two hours of total race time is coded specially for this event.
- The Jaguar XJ220 opponent that appears in this event is supposed to be it's racing model; however, as it was not marked in the event opponent list to be such, it appears as a road car instead.
- There is a typo in the event's logo icon, where it says "Roma Mirenium".
