Sony Computer Entertainment, Inc. (株式会社ソニー・コンピュータエンタテインメント Kabushiki Gaisha Sonī Konpyūta Entateinmento) (SCEI) is a video game company specializing in a variety of areas in the video game industry, mostly in it's PlayStation series of video game consoles and is a full subsidiary of Sony that was established on November 16, 1993 in Tokyo, Japan.
As of January 29, 2009, Sony Computer Entertainment is responsible for publishing all current entries in the Gran Turismo series of games. The company is also a publisher, as it publishes the Gran Turismo series.
