The BRZ STI Sport was introduced in 2017 as the highest level model in the BRZ line-up. As the name suggests, this model was developed in conjunction with Subaru Technical International (STI), Subaru's motorsports development team.
Both the interior and exterior have been adjusted to meet the expectations of a top of the line model. The exterior has been fitted with a unique front bumper and fender garnishes, while the interior has received a full makeover in Bordeaux Red, a color exclusive to STI Sport models. In particular, the seats use a mix of leather and alcantara for a mature, chic look.
While the powerplant is the same as the base model, the major sales point is the body filled with STI performance technology. Flexible V bars and draw stiffeners have been introduced to control body rigidity, improving responsiveness and stability. Handling has been likewise improved using dampers and springs specifically developed for this car by Sachs.
