The Subaru IMPREZA Rally Car '96 is a rally car produced by Subaru. It only appears in Gran Turismo 2.

- The car shares all of its physics data with the normal Subaru IMPREZA Sedan WRX STi Version III '96, however it has the following upgrades equipped:

- Turbo Kit Stage 1
- Computer - Sports ROM
- Port Grinding
- Engine Balancing
- Weight Reduction Stage 2
- Racing Modification
- Despite the name, this car is not meant to represent the 1996 Subaru Impreza Group A rally car. The car is actually a standalone racing modified version of a pre-existing car intended for use in Gran Turismo 2's arcade mode.
- This car is often confused with the Subaru IMPREZA Rally Car available in GT Mode, due to having an almost identical in-game name. However, the two cars are completely different.
