In-game Description[]

This description is taken from the PAL version of Gran Turismo 2:

The Vivio made its debut in 1992 as the full model change of the Rex. It is the fourth generation of light cars, starting with the Subaru 360. It participated in the Paris-Beijing rally immediately after its debut, and in 1993 completed the WRC Safari Rally and was the champion of its class. For obvious reasons, the greatest appeal is its driving performance. The two available body types are 3-door and 5-door, and the sportiest of them all are the RX-R, the sports model in the 3-door line-up, and the RX-RA, which is the motor sports base model. The loaded engine combines an in-line 4-cylinder DOHC with a supercharger for a maximum output of 64ps/7200rpm and a maximum torque of 10.8kgm/3600rpm. The only transmission for this model is a 5-speed MT. The RX-R features both 2WD and 4WD, while the motor sports version RA, like the Legacy and the Impreza[1], only offers 4WD. The chassis features an L-shaped tower arm strut independent suspension in the front, with a dual-link strut independent suspension in the rear. The front brakes are ventilated discs, and the rear are leading/trailing. This well-balanced model is the optimum machine for sports driving.
