Trivia[]
- The series serves as a brief introduction to Gran Turismo 2's overall racing systems: AI cars that progressively increased in difficulty and performance (except for several high-tier races where all the cars have relatively equal performance). In Tahiti Road, player will face some unassuming Japanese kei jidosha (a Japanese classification of super small cars, measuring less than 3.4 meters in length and 1.6 meters in height). Furthermore, in High Speed Ring, player will face some sport compact cars (usually has less than 220hp stock power), and in Red Rock Valley, player will face another kind of sport compact, only this time, has higher caliber, housing engines which has at least 230hp (all of which are dubbed by Japan as grand tourers).
