In-game description[]
"The more aggressive Alto Works with Aero parts and 14" wheels."
The Alto was Suzuki's take on a lightweight sedan. The fourth generation Alto was introduced in November 1994. Suzuki paid special attention to the Alto Works, which was the souped-up performance version. The works first appeared with the second-generation in 1987. What made it mechanically different from the base car was its twin-cam engine with intercooled turbochargers and all-wheel-drive. It looked different too, with a flashy body kit and a different face that featured round headlights and fog lamps. The new Works stayed the same size as the original, but wheelbase grew slightly to increase interior space.
Under the hood of the RS-Z trim level was an all-new 658 cc DOHC inline-3 with aluminum heads and block, the first of its kind in a kei car. It produced 63 BHP and 75.9 lb-ft of torque, the highest in its class. The base version continued with the inline-3 of the previous model. It came in both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive, with power transferred through a 5-speed manual gearbox, 3-speed auto, or 4-speed auto. The brakes of the car consisted of front and rear discs. The handling of the car matched its power and featured power steering, a rarity among kei cars of the day. In January 1998, a special Suzuki Sports Limited that featured a special body kit and 14-inch tires was added to the line.
