In-game description[]
In November 2001, Suzuki released a light minivan, the MR Wagon. MR was an abbreviation of "Magical Relax," the name of a light vehicle first displayed at the 1999 Tokyo Motor Show. The design was popular, so Suzuki reproduced that exterior over an existing front-engine platform.
The provocative round styling was diametrically opposed to the boxy lines of the Alto Lapin released around the same time. It had a clean and stylish feel, and sported a roomy interior. The base was Suzuki's own hit model, the Wagon R. At 133.6 inches long, 58.0 inches wide and 62.9 inches tall (for the 4WD version), the body was slightly shorter in height than the Wagon R, but the interior was practically just as spacious.
The cabin was only a 4-seater with two rows of seats, but with ample headroom and legroom, even four adults could ride comfortably. Its interior styling differed from the Wagon R in being more modern and luxurious.
The engine, available in naturally-aspirated and turbo versions, was a 660 cc DOHC straight-3 in both models. The line-up started with two grades, the 53 BHP naturally-aspirated version and the 59 BHP turbo, but in June of 2002 the 63 BHP Turbo SPORT was added, completing the line-up. Only the SPORT was graced with lowered suspension and 14" aluminum wheels.
Other mechanical components were, by and large, shared with the Wagon R. Although the base model had an FF drivetrain, 4WD was also available. The car did not have a manual option, as all gearboxes used a column-shift 4-speed automatic. It was also well equipped with safety features; in addition to ABS, it was the first to utilise a variable force limiter for the driver's seat-belt in a K-car class lightweight vehicle.
