In-game description[]

The 2nd generation Suzuki Wagon R was released in October 1998 to comply with the revision in lightweight K-car regulations. As with its predecessor, it continued the high-tall concept, but a new "RR" sports spec with a new turbo engine was added.

The 2nd generation design kept in line with the previous version, but it was rounded off slightly and was given a different facia. The square headlights were stretched sideways, and the wings were flared out. The size was adjusted to fit the new standards, the FF being enlarged quite a bit to a length of 3395 mm and a width of 1475 mm. It was now 100 mm longer and 80 mm wider than the previous version. Naturally, the collision safety performance was greatly improved, and is said to be closer to cars in the 1000 cc class.

In the RR version, major distinctions on the exterior include the large open front grill, air-intake on the hood, and the two round fog lamps. With all of this, the car's look changed drastically, from a 'straight-A student' to a 'wild child'.

The engine remained a 658 cc inline-3 turbo as before, but the head was changed from SOHC to DOHC, reaching 63 BHP. But it is still focused on low-to-medium speed torque for easy driving characteristics.

The grades consist of the simple RR, and a fully loaded RR-F. A 5-speed MT and a 4-speed AT were offered, with a selection of FF or 4WD. Its suspension, as with the previous model, had struts for the front and isolated trailing links for the rear. However, the rigidity and arm lengths have been revived. An additional improvement for the RR, is that it was given stronger dampers and coil springs, allowing the car to be lowered by 10 mm.
