Toyota Racing Development or TRD is the in-house tuning shop for all Toyota, Lexus, and Scion cars. TRD is responsible both for improving street cars for more performance and supporting Toyota's racing interests around the world. TRD produces various tuning products and accessories, including performance suspension components, superchargers, and wheels. TRD parts are available through Toyota dealers, and are also available as accessories on brand-new Toyotas and Scion.

Trivia[]
- In GT4, there is an unused TRD dealer, complete with description text for it. However, no cars can be tuned there, nor it does have a background image for the menu before the tune shop, although there is a Full Model option to purchase the TOYOTA MODELLISTA CELICA TRD Sports M (ZZT231) '00, which is branded as a "Toyota Modellista" car.[1]
- TRD decals are available on Toyota and Lexus vehicles under Brand Logo section in the Livery Editor in Gran Turismo Sport and Gran Turismo 7. On Lexus vehicles, the TRD logo is grayscale, instead of red.
- As of 2019, the TRD brand is gradually being phased out in favor of Toyota Gazoo Racing (GR), although the TRD brand is still sometimes used, mostly in North America for pickup trucks and NASCAR purposes.
