Test is a hidden track found in the demo versions of Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec. It is a figure-eight track apparently created for testing the handling model, although its true purpose is unknown. AI opponents cannot be loaded on this track, or the game will crash. There is almost no texture modelling here, save for a few orange cones strewn about. The road surface is very roughly drawn and there are no walls or buildings, though the collision is present. The skybox is copied from Special Stage Route 5.

This track can only be found in Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec, as released on the European Official Playstation 2 Magazine: Demo Disc #5, there are no file remnants in later games.

Bugs and Glitches[]

  • The crossroad bridge can glitch and cause you get stuck when you try to go over or under it. It's likely invisible walls are the cause of this.
