The Tokyo Route 246 Endurance is an endurance race in Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec. It is set on Tokyo R246, and lasts 100 laps. An International A License is needed to enter this event.
Overview[]
Tokyo R246 was a new circuit in Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec, and as with new tracks in preceding games, Polyphony Digital created an endurance race to challenge the player. It is the longest endurance race in GT3, boasting over 500 kilometers of length, and ties with the Super Speedway 150 Miles for lap count. Tokyo R246's flat, but overall wide corners make this a much faster-paced race than other urban circuits in Gran Turismo 3 (Like the Special Stage Route 11 All-Night Endurance, or the Mistral 78 Laps), with drivers not having to worry too much about the course lap-to-lap. The most crucial corners are mostly over turn 1, turn 2, and the underpass hairpin at the easternmost part of the course.
