In-game description[]
This description is taken from the NTSC version of Gran Turismo 2:
The T111 model is a tuned machine based on the old AE101 Levin/Trueno, which Tom's has positioned to include the works. When various high-performance parts developed by Tom's are added to this AE101 base, the result is a car that looks even sportier than the Levin/Trueno. First and foremost, there's the full set of aero kit parts: the front grille, front bumper spoiler, side sills, rear bumper spoiler, and rear wing. Tom's parts have also been added in the interior, such as in the steering assembly. And the engine? It's the 4A-G; a 5-valve, 1.6-liter, inline 4-cylinder DOHC powerplant. The circuit-spec models also include forged pistons, racing camshafts, and other meticulous enhancements that put the T111 on a level with the N1 machines. As for the suspension, it has some powerful shock absorbers that are ready for the street or the circuit, plus beefed-up springs and performance anti-roll bars for extra durability. With this full array of performance parts, the T111 has the potential to rival the N1 machine as a powerful road machine.
