The Toyota Celica is a line of sports cars produced by the Japanese car manufacturer Toyota from 1970 to 2006. It is named in reference to the Latin word coelica, which means heavenly or celestial. Spanning seven generations, the Celica offered various four-cylinder engines, and bodystyles included convertibles, coupes, liftbacks and notchback coupés. Domestically, it was sold exclusively as the Toyota Corolla Store dealerships.

The first three generations of the Celicas were rear wheel drive and in the North American market, they were powered by variants of Toyota's R series engine. Starting with the fourth generation in 1985, the Celica switched to front wheel drive and also offered turbocharged four wheel drive turbocharged models up to the discontinuation of the sixth-generation Celica in 1999. It also offered variable valve timing in the final two generations. The Celica was also the basis for the first two generations of the Toyota Supra before the latter was separated from it as a standalone model.
