In-game description[]
The Toyota Supra ended production in 2002 to the dismay of many fans worldwide, but the car made its comeback in the 2019 North American International Auto Show.
This flagship Toyota model, which carries over the inline 6 cylinder engine and rear wheel drive, is headed by chief engineer Tetsuya Tada, who also brought the Toyota 86 to life. Under the slogan "Numbers are one thing, feeling is what matters", he proceeded to create a car that speaks to the sense of the driver. Optimally balanced with a 50:50 weight distribution and a low center of gravity, it provides powerful acceleration with a twin scroll turbo. The quick handling enabled by the wide body and short wheelbase is a result of a pursuit to achieve an ideal sports car, and its glamorous and elegant form and straight six engine sound combines to gives it an aura that is unrivalled by others.
The GR Supra RZ was developed for not only real motorsports but also with competition in Gran Turismo Sport in mind. The further refined 2020 model will also come in highly anticipated new body colors.
Dealership (GT7)[]
A year after the release of the original GR Supra RZ, this 2020 model was introduced. Its engine saw a serious rise in output, from 335.3 HP to 381.7 HP. New turbines and a redesigned exhaust manifold were fitted, giving it a much more pop in the upper RPM ranges.

Trivia[]
- This is the first real-world car from the 2020s to be added in the series. Additionally, this Japanese 2020 model was added in GT Sport before the announcement of the real car from Toyota.
- Seemingly because of this, the in-game version has some differences from the real one. It still has the Deep Blue Metallic color option, which was discontinued in real life. Also, the Matte Storm Gray Metallic option has regular-color wheels in-game, just like the 2019 model, instead of having matte black wheels in real life, which are the same ones as the one in Horizon Blue has.
- When it was initially announced to be in GT Sport, it was initially listed as being in the N300 class, but was later changed to N400 to accommodate the factory power upgrades for the 2020 model year.
