In-game description[]

"Stability, operability, durability—commercial vehicles have a myriad of demands to meet. For nearly 60 years, Toyota's Hiace has been consistently meeting these expectations. This Hiace is a fifth-generation model, introduced in 2004. The DX designation referred to its base grade, developed in accordance with Japan's five-number vehicle size regulations.[1] With seating for up to nine passengers, the seats folded to create additional storage space. This efficient interior design made the Hiace immensely popular as a base vehicle for caravans."

Car Index (GT7)[]

Since its debut in 1967, Toyota's Hiace cab-over commercial van has garnered international acclaim for its utility and reliability. The fifth-generation H200 model was introduced in 2004 and, thanks to regular updates, remains in production to this day.

The H200 Hiace lineup offers a variety of configurations and trim levels to suit different needs and specifications which can generally be categorized by body length, width, and roof height. The H200 is available with a 2.0-liter or 2.7-liter gasoline engine, or a 2.8-liter diesel inline-4.

The Van DX model featured in Gran Turismo 7 is a basic-grade version, utilizing the standard body dimensions of 184.8 inches in length and 66.7 inches wide, with a standard roof height of 78.0 inches. It is powered by a 2.0-liter gasoline engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, driving the rear wheels only. This 4-door configuration omits the right-hand sliding door and seats up to nine passengers. For those needing to transport larger cargo, the second and third rows of seats can be folded down to create luggage area that measures 95.9 inches long.
