The Toyota MOMO Corse Apex MR2 GT (JGTC) '99 is a race car produced by Toyota. It only appears in Gran Turismo 2.

The car is the #25 driven by Morio Nitta and Shinichi Takagi, who achieved 1st place in the GT300 ranking of the 1999 JGTC season with Nitta, and 4th place with Takagi. Both drivers would later go on to win the GT300 Manufacturers Championship for Toyota.



This car can be won by winning the GT300 Championship. It has a chance of 1/4 (25% of probability) to come as a prize car.



  • In early versions of GT2, there is an entry for TSUCHIYA MR2 '98 (with internal name of t2tmr), which is an earlier specification of this car used in 1998 JGTC season. Although the car was never made available as a separate car, the car is instead made available as a racing modification for Toyota MR2 GT-S '98, having being initially planned as racing modification for TRD2000GT.
  • During night races, the car's has active pop-up headlights, despite the real race car not having them.
