The Toyota Weds Sport Celica GT (JGTC) '99 is a race car produced by Toyota. It only appears in Gran Turismo 2.

Although the car doesn't show a driver number, it clearly appears to be the #19, driven by Takahiko Hara and Manabu Orido, who achieved a 3rd place finish in the GT300 class ranking of the 1999 JGTC season.

GT2[]

This car can be won by winning the GT300 Championship. It has a chance of 1/4 (25% of probability) to come as a prize car.

Trivia[]

  • Curiously, despite being a racing version of the Toyota Celica (ST202), this car cannot enter the second race of the Celica Meeting.
  • For some reason, the side decals on the car is misspelled, despite being correct on other areas on the car. In addition, all of the car's headlights are turned on at night races, even though only smaller lights are installed on the outer headlights on the actual car.
  • While the real-world version of this car used a 320ps N/A engine and weighed as little as 975 kg,[1] it is represented in the game with the turbocharged engine and much heavier weight from the road-going Celica GT-Four.
