The Trick☆Star ZX-10R Suzuka8H '05 is a racing bike produced by Kawasaki. It only appears in Tourist Trophy.

The bike took a 42nd-place finish (9th in the XF1 class) in the 2005 Suzuka 8 Hours with riders Ryuji Tsuruta and Katsunori Hasegawa, completing 178 laps.

Description[]

The fastest time of all the ZX-10Rs at the 2005 Suzuka 8-hour Endurance Race was registered by the Trick Star ZX-10R. At the helm was Ryuji Tsuruta, who came in 16th in the time qualifier with a time of 2 minutes 11.728 seconds - practically motorsports division territory. The ZX-10R he rode, a collaborative project between Tsuruta's own True Blue and Max Speed, first debuted in Suzuka the year before. For 2005, Tsuruta and crew made various improvements. First, they installed a longer swing arm, which with the bike's already short wheelbase, improved steering stability at full acceleration.

The 6.3-gallon aluminium fuel tank is bigger but still has the same basic shape as the stock tank. Showa suspension is paired with Brembo radial-mounted calipers in the front. The whole package rolls on Advantage-forged aluminium rims. True Blue installed many custom components, such as the Trick Star muffler, fairing, and rearsets. The oil filler on the engine's clutch cover is an interesting touch.

Although most competitors opted for a racing-spec camshaft on their 10Rs, this bike retains its stock camshaft. In fact, tunings like that are kept to a minimum, although the ignition controller and generator were swapped out for Kawasaki racing-kit parts. Still, the bike's power approaches that of a motorsports division bike and allows the rider to experience the full potential of the 10R.
