Prize Cars[]

There are four prize cars on this event. However, these prize cars are not assigned to a specified race, and are assigned randomly. All the four prize cars have a chance of 1/4 (25% of probability) to come as prize cars. So, in order to get a certain prize car, the player must repeat a race of this event if he want to get another prize car.

Tips and Tricks[]

  • Since it has free HP limit, you can even enter the tournament in a naturally-aspirated racing car. If you do so, be sure to set the gearbox setting towards acceleration, as you need optimum off-the-line and off-the-corner acceleration.

Trivia[]

  • Due to a bug in the global opponent list in the NTSC 1.0 and PAL versions of the game, a Peugeot 306 Rally Car equipped with Dirt tyres may appear here. This is caused by early versions of GT2 using one programmed list of opponents, identifying each car by a 4-digit number. Since some vehicles were deleted, renamed, removed, or rearranged between regions, the global list will have various missing values. If an event attempts to access a blank entry in this list, it will default to the entry above it, which usually results in selecting an opponent from a previous event. The NTSC version 1.1 and newer are not affected by this bug.
