The Volkswagen Scirocco R '10 is a three-door sport compact hatchback produced by Volkswagen. It appears in Gran Turismo 5 (as part of the Car Pack 2 DLC), Gran Turismo 6 and Gran Turismo 7.

The Volkswagen Scirocco that made its comeback in 2008 is a sports coupé that was developed utilising the base components of the Golf.
The turbo and supercharger 1.4TSI combination gained high praise for its performance when it debuted, but in 2009 an even better performance model was introduced. This was the Scirocco R, a model imbued with the technology fed back from the Scirocco that won its class in the Nürburgring 24-hour race, two years in a row.
The car's low ride height as well as its wide tread body styling hints at its road holding capabilities. It is also garnished with special front/rear bumpers, side skirts an a roof spoiler reminiscent of the Nürburgring race car. Of course, the suspension and brakes are greatly improved and the 2.0TSI direct injection turbo engine, combined with the twin-clutch DSG transmission, produces 252.4 BHP @ 6,000 rpm. This is the same engine as the one powering the Golf R that debuted almost at the same time. However, while the Golf R uses the 4motion four-wheel drive system, the Scirocco remains front-wheel drive in order to keep its weight down.
As a result, it is 120 kg lighter than the Golf R at 1,410 kg, and is the quickest high spec sports model in the Volkswagen line-up.
With its dynamic engine sound, sharp cornering and daily utility, this is a unique mix that fills the roles of both a practical and sports driving car.

If you're in the market for a powerful FF sports car, I'd recommend the Scirocco R! It comes with upgraded suspension and brakes, and a 2L straight-four turbo engine generating 246.5 BHP. While it may have similar specs to the Golf R, it's around 120 kg lighter, thanks to the absence of a 4WD system. You can really feel the difference when taking sharp corners.
