Willow Springs' Horse Thief Mile is a 1-mile (1.6 km) road course with 11 turns featuring major elevation changes, tight turns and canyon-like surroundings. It first appears in Gran Turismo Sport.

Layout[]
Turn 1 is an ascending right hand corner, where the latter half has a tight arc. Decelerate by letting off the throttle, and keep to the center of the track. Move your car on the left side as you exit. In the following right hand corner you also want to let off of the throttle to reduce speed, and set your apex on the part where the ground surface sticks out on the right.
Turn 2, a low speed corner at the top of the hill also begins as a loose corner and then becomes tight in the latter half. Enter the corner from braking in a straight line, and gradually loosen the brakes as you turn in. After descending from the hill, you will make a left turn. Next, position your car on the right to enter turn 4, which turns to the left on an upward incline. Here again you need to brake in a straight line and turn in, while slowly letting off of the brakes. Go wide around the outside. Because the latter half of the corner has a harsh angle, set your clipping point at the exit of the corner.
The exit of the ascending right hand turn 5 has a rather tight exit. Set your apex late into the corner. Because it is easy to end up going wide at the descending left hand turn 6, brake lightly at its apex if necessary. Exit the turn at the center of the track, and enter turn 7. You will be hitting clipping points twice here, at both the entry and exit of the corner.
At the descending right hand turn 9, let off of the throttle as you turn in. For turns 10 and 11, be wary not to short cut the corners, but try to pass through in a straight line.
