The X2019 Nations Cup is a 5-race event that appears in Gran Turismo 7 as part of Update 1.40. The races are located at the World Circuits menu and the tracks are unlocked by progressing through the GT Café.

Strategy[]

  • The Red Bull X2019 Competition is a car that is mostly harsh with the rear tires when out of corners, therefore it can burn through their tire lives quickly. One way to lower tire wear is either to turn on traction control, or exit a low speed corner at 3rd or 4th gear. Drivers can also adjust the brake bias or increase the rear downforce to prevent oversteer.
  • Reaching the finish on some of these races are likely for those that can manage the tires properly, but depending on what racing tires the driver uses even if it’s a mixed set (Mediums in front, Hard in back for instance), it’s better to pit for a fresh set of tires rather than just go to the end as they’ll eventually get to a point where if not managed properly, it will lead to spinning out when exiting corners and therefore cost valuable time. The Tire Wear multiplier ranges anywhere from 6x-8x.
  • Fuel consumption is not a big factor as they are only 2x-3x. While saving fuel is not required, lowering the fuel map can sometimes slightly lower the tire wear when exiting corners at the cost of overall power.
